2021 marks the 100th Anniversary of the Field Museum’s lakeshore building. For a century, this grand structure has captured the imagination of nearly 130 million visitors—inviting them on a journey around the world and through time to examine the way we perceive nature and culture. Today, this building protects a collection of more than 40 million specimens and supports 150 scientists leading research and conservation around the world.
