Everyday Sacred looks at physical spaces of ritual, memory, memorial, and belief in and around Chicago, exploring the idea of sacredness as something defined as “set apart” from everyday life. This exhibition will center place-based storytelling, oral histories, and CHM's architectural collection, which includes photographs, architectural drawings, fragments and material remnants, archival material, and 3D objects.
