Chicago History Museum is delighted to welcome the Latino Heritage Congreso to Chicago! Participants, join our curators, Elena Gonzales, Curator of Civic Engagement & Social Justice and Lead Curator of Aquí en Chicago, Jojo Galván Mora, Digital Humanities Fellow and Supporting Curator on Aquí, and Rebekah Coffman, Curator of Religion and Community History and Supporting Curator on Aquí, for 45-minute-long tours of Aquí en Chicago. The exhibition celebrates the persistent cultural presence of Latine Chicagoans dating back nearly to the founding of the city and explores a toolkit of working for social justice from activism to cultural maintenance.
