Our history books are filled with the stories of those who fought for democracy and freedom against all odds. On January 28, join award-winning MSNBC anchor and chief correspondent Ali Velshi at the Saddle & Cycle to hear a captivating family history that illustrates how small actions can have an outsized civic impact. From Gandhi's ashram to South African apartheid to immigration into the U.S., Velshi will trace 125 years of his family history that shows how ordinary people can live out principles of pluralistic democracy.

Books are available for preorder. They will be released in May.
