Guild Visit to Anderson Japanese Gardens

Join The Guild of the Chicago History Museum on a bus trip to experience Anderson Japanese Gardens in beautiful fall foliage. The twelve-acre landscape of streams, waterfalls, winding pathways, and koi-filled ponds has been rated one of North America’s highest quality Japanese gardens for more than a decade. Space is limited, so get your tickets now!

On September 16, our bus will pick up passengers at the Chicago History Museum at 8:15 a.m. and arrive at the Gardens around 10:30 a.m. After a two-hour tour and lunch, we will return to the Museum around 4:45 p.m.

Lunch is included in your ticket. Please email mckeown@chicagohistory.org to request one of the following options:

  • FRESCO CLUB SANDWICH
    Smoked turkey, ham, pancetta, tomato, organic romaine, cheddar cheese, red onion, and mayonnaise. Served on ciabatta square.
  • TUSCAN CHICKEN SANDWICH
    Organic chicken, fresh poblano pepper, organic romaine, tomatoes, asiago cheese and a handcrafted garlic aioli. Served on a ciabatta square.
  • FRESCA SALAD
    Organic romaine and arugula blend topped with pancetta, diced tomatoes, organic medley tomatoes, asiago cheese and homemade brioche croutons. Drizzled with homemade apple basil vinaigrette.
  • MANGO BERRY SUMMER SALAD (V)
    Organic romaine and arugula blend paired with fresh strawberries, mango, sliced red onion, organic medley tomatoes, avocado and fresh -feta cheese. Lightly dressed with honey lemon vinaigrette.
