Join the Chicago History Museum, the Chicago Architecture Center, and the Ismaili Council (Midwestern US Region) for a dialogue with Professor Nader Tehrani, CHM Curator Rebekah Coffman, CHM Chief Historian Peter Alter, and President of Bailey Edward Design Ellen Dickson that highlights the Aga Khan Award for Architecture. Our speaker will examine the role that architecture plays in improving quality of life, as well as how it addresses social inequalities. Our panelists will further explore and connect these themes to Chicago's own history and communities in our open dialogue. A one-night-only panel exhibition featuring the architectural projects submitted to the Award cycle will be available for viewing prior to the start of the dialogue.

Refreshments will be served.
