5:30 PM  –  6:30 PM

OUT at CHM is excited to announce its upcoming partnership with ALMA (Association of Latinos/as/x Motivating Action) on a sustained experiential program of community-centered stories with a focus on the intersection of Chicago’s Latinx/Queer/Immigrant community during the COVID-19 pandemic. This partnership embodies the museum’s mission of sharing Chicago stories and our work to bolster diversity, equity, and inclusion practices. OUT at CHM strives to increase civic activism, the amplification of underappreciated stories and restorative justice. The committee is honored to partner with ALMA.

Learn more about this initiative on Thursday, December 17 at 5:30PM CT through a discussion with CHM and ALMA representatives, Emmanuel Garcia, Julio Rodriguez and Nancy Villafranca, moderated by Kim L. Hunt
