Chicago has hosted more presidential nominating conventions than any other city in the country. From Lincoln's nomination in the Wigwam to Franklin Delano Roosevelt's at the Chicago Stadium to the chaos that unfolded across the city in 1968, Chicago has been at the center of the nation's political life. Ahead of the Democratic National Convention in August, join Director of Exhibitions Paul Durica on this walking tour that tells the story of seven significant conventions.

This tour runs 1.5 to 2 hours. Meets at 191 N. Wacker Dr. and ends at 720 S. Michigan Ave.
